The Lechang-Ya'an Expressway is a section of the G93 Chengdu-Chongqing Ring Expressway within Sichuan Province, as planned in the national expressway network.  　　
 The road connects to the Zhangxuba interchange of the G93 Leshan-Yibin Expressway in the east, passing through the Shizhong District of Leshan City, Jiajiang County, Hongya County of Meishan City, and reaching Yucheng District of Ya'an City, where it connects to the G5 Chengdu-Ya'an Expressway in Mingshan County. With a total length of 116.683 kilometers and a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour, it adopts a fully enclosed and fully interchanged design, featuring dual lanes and four lanes. The total investment is 7.848 billion yuan. Construction officially began on December 23, 2009, and the road was completed and opened to traffic in 2012.  
 Currently, five expressways in the Chengdu-Chongqing Ring Road, namely Chengdu-Mianyang, Chengdu-Ya'an, Suining-Chongqing, Leshan-Yibin, and Mianyang-Suining, have been completed and opened to traffic. Expressways such as Yibin-Luzhou-Chongqing have entered the construction phase, with the Leshan-Ya'an Expressway being the last to commence. Upon completion, the 1,200-kilometer Chengdu-Chongqing Expressway Ring Road will be fully enclosed. By then, the eight cities connected by the Ring Road, including Chengdu, Ya'an, Leshan, Yibin, Luzhou, Chongqing, Suining, and Mianyang, will have a maximum direct travel time of no more than 3 hours between any two adjacent cities via expressways. This will also form the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration, which includes two megacities, Chengdu and Chongqing, as well as more than 30 large, medium, and small cities in the Chengdu-Chongqing region, driving the development of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle.
