The Guangyuan-Ganzi Expressway is a section of the G75 Lanhai Expressway (from Lanzhou to Haikou), which is one of the longitudinal lines of the national expressway network, located within Sichuan Province. It starts from the Jiangjunshi Highway Tunnel in Gansu Province, crosses the Jiangjunshi area at the border between Sichuan and Gansu, heads south through Shenjiashan, then west to Mengzigou, Muyu Town, Machang Township, and Guanyindian Township in Qingchuan County, Guangyuan City. It continues through Zhaojiayan, crosses the Tangjia River, passes through Huachang, and reaches Baolun Town where it intersects with the Baocheng Railway and National Highway 108 at Yanjia. After that, it crosses the Qingjiang River to Luojiagou and sets up an interchange to connect with the Mianguang Expressway. It finally connects with the starting point of the Guangyuan-Nanchong Expressway (Guangnan Expressway), with a total length of 56 kilometers.  　　
The entire Guangyuan-Ganzi Expressway is constructed to the standard of a four-lane expressway, with a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour and a subgrade width of 24.5 meters. Two rest areas and two interchanges will be established along the route.  

 The project is arduous, with a significant proportion of bridges and tunnels. Among them, bridges span 18.789 kilometers, including 4 super major bridges, 50 major bridges, and 9 medium bridges. The longest bridge, the Qingjiang River Super Major Bridge, is 1714.55 meters long. In addition, there are 12 tunnels along the route, with the longest being the Zhaojiayan Tunnel, which is 6300 meters long. The proportion of bridges and tunnels along the entire route is as high as 80%.
