The Guiyang-Guangzhou high-speed railway, also known as the Guiyang-Guangzhou passenger dedicated line, is a standard 300-grade line (not a high-speed railway). Currently, its operating speed is 250 km/h, with space reserved for speed increases. It starts from Guiyang North Station, passing through Qiannan Prefecture, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Liuzhou (northern part, not the urban area), Guilin, Hezhou, Zhaoqing, Foshan, and finally arrives at Guangzhou South Station.
It is the most convenient railway corridor for accessing the sea in the southwest region, serving as a high-speed passage connecting the "Belt and Road" and facilitating the "interconnection" of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the Pearl River Economic Belt, the West River Economic Belt, and the China-Bangladesh-Myanmar-India Economic Corridor, thereby shortening the time and space distance between the southwest region and the Pearl River Delta
