Project Introduction

Djibouti to Ethiopian Border Railway Project belongs to design, procurement and construction general contracting (EPC) project. The total length is 82km, the construction duration is 60 months, the design speed is 120km, and Chinese standards are adopted. The railway lasts from Gray on the border of Djibouti and Ethiopia to Lagarde of Djibouti. It further connects Dolarea New Port and Djibouti Old Port in Djibouti, which is connected with Ethiopia Addis Ababa-Duvally (Djibouti Border of Ethiopia) Railway which will be constructed.
