






Project Introduction
The Djibouti-Ethiopia Border Railway Project is an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project, spanning a total length of 82 kilometers, with a construction period of 60 months and a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour, adopting Chinese standards. The railway connects from Grele, on the border between Djibouti and Ethiopia, to Nagaad in Djibouti City, and further links to Djibouti's new Doraleh Port and the old Djibouti Port, connecting with the upcoming Addis Ababa-Dawali (on the Djibouti-Ethiopia border) railway in Ethiopia.
